Fernando Alonso made a comeback to F1 with Alpine after seeing the vision of the team to win the championships in the near future. However, the way Alonso’s tenure ended was nothing short of a shock and disappointment. Nonetheless, the decision to move to Aston Martin worked out well with the AMR23, helping the Spaniard achieve 6 podiums in the first half of the season. With the Aston Martin heroics on his side, Fernando Alonso unleashes hell at Otmar Szafnauer’s disrespectful antics.

Fernando Alonso’s age and fitness were questioned by the people at Alpine including Otmar Szafnauer. Alonso suggests that his former boss should keep quiet after looking at Aston Martin’s success as Alpine is nowhere near the pace of the front-runner despite already being committed to the championship-winning project for a longer time than Aston Martin.

According to the F1: Chequered Flag podcast, Fernando Alonso said, “After this year, he should be quiet, he should not talk at all after the result of Aston Martin, and the result that he’s achieving, he’s still talking and he’s still proud of the decision which is incredible.”

Alonso suggested that Otmar Szafnauer should keep his mouth closed, as he’s still proud of the decision of sacking Alonso and the approach taken by him toward Alpine’s development. Nonetheless, Alpine has sacked Otmar Szafnauer and is looking for a new TP. Let’s see what Szafnauer had to say.

Otmar Szafnauer was spotted at Aston Martin’s guest house during the Belgian GP. The former Alpine TP was asked about the same and he replied, “I will not comment.” Szafnauer, moving to Aston Martin, might not be out of the question as the green team was his home for several years.
