Kevin Magnussen recently bid adieu to Haas and Formula 1 entirely, as his team opted for an all-rookie line up for the 2021 season. The Danish racer, however, managed to find himself a drive in the Weathertech Sportscar Championship in 2021. He will be racing for the Chip Ganassi Racing team.

Following the switch to sportscar racing, the Danish racer, apparently, heaved a sigh of relief that he could finally rekindle the hopes of fighting for race wins.

This led to Haas fighting with the bottom-field teams. Hence, despite losing out his seat at Haas, Magnussen would be relieved with the fact that he can finally aim for the top step in the lower racing series.
