Kimi Raikkonen has consistently contemplated keeping specific good ways from the world. The times of wild parties are a distant memory, the most recent Ferrari world champion is now an ideal father.
He is living in his Finnish estate with his family. The Iceman is saying that he is liking this extended winter break as he is able to spend more time with his kids. At forty he is the oldest F1 driver on the grid.
Individually drivers are convinced to take an interest in the online races. Even Sebastian Vettel has just got a simulator in his home. In any case, there is one man everyone can be certain won’t appear in the Virtual Grands Prix.
Last Sunday, notwithstanding the inevitable victor Charles Leclerc, another six drivers from the current lineup were present for the Virtual Grand Prix of China. Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, George Russell, Nicolas Latifi and Antonio Giovinazzi were a part of the grid.
Kimi Raikkonen has correctly zero intends to engage in the virtual racing during the lockdown.
“I don’t care [about it]. I’d rather wait until I can get back to a real track,” Raikkonen says in an interview with Corriere dello Sport.
Although, He wasn’t even a fanatic of accomplishing simulator work for Ferrari.
“It’s not that I didn’t love it,” he said.
“Let’s say that flying to Italy to get in front of the simulator wasn’t exactly why I chose this job.
“It’s a different thing to drive around the track. And anyway, those simulators are completely different and extremely more complex than the online racing ones.”
Kimi Raikkonen is rarely seen talking to any other driver on the grid during the race weekend. He is famous for his witty and straight forward answers during press conferences. Kimi is a driver who likes to have an ice-cream in the middle of a red-flagged race, or to directly venture to his yacht in Monaco after a crash.
When asked Is it possible to make friends among other drivers, the Iceman said “For me, Sebastian and Antonio are. Apart from them I don’t have many.”
Kimi has now revealed that he has two friends from the present lineup. One is his ex-teammate Sebastian Vettel and the other one is his current teammate Antonio Giovinazzi.
