Having switched to a plant-based diet, Lewis Hamilton often claims to be in the best shape of his life. To be honest, we can see that in his photos. He looks more muscular than ever, without putting on too much weight, which means it is all lean muscle. It is therefore justified when he has a sense of confidence in his physical abilities. However, all it took was a lie-detector test to prove that all of that confidence was probably surficial when the question arose whether he was stronger than his teammate George Russell.

Over the last few years since he made his debut in F1, Russell himself has developed a pretty lean physique. The junior Mercedes driver never shies away from showing off his abs, often posting pictures of himself shirtless. He recently had a workout session with team boss Toto Wolff, where fans ended up appreciating the Austrian more for maintaining himself well at the age of 51.

Lewis Hamilton took the lie detector test

Lewis recently took a lie detector test in a fun interview with Sky Sports, where they asked him, “Do you think you can beat George in an arm wrestle?”

To this, the 7x time champion nonchalantly answered, “Yeah”. When the lie detector told them that he was lying, all he could do was laugh and wonder whether it was Russell’s “physique” that had him doubting himself.
