Now, “Get in there, Lewis!” is the phrase running through the minds of the fans of Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, who was spotted with the Latin pop star Shakira on a boat! But where was the boat? The boat was outside Shakira’s $15 million mansion, that she bought after she shifted to Miami earlier this year. Plus, this comes mere days after the two were spotted at a dinner in Cipriani. But what makes this spotting even more interesting is that it comes just a day after Shakira was rumored to be dating a Hollywood star and Lewis Hamilton’s long-time good friend Tom Cruise! Three single people at the top of their respective fields and dating rumors—this is no less than any blockbuster love triangle movie.

“He is extremely interested in pursuing her. There is chemistry,” said a source, as reported by Page Six about Tom Cruise’s interest in Shakira. So, after the rumored date between Tom Cruise and Shakira, the actor now faces a challenge from his friend Hamilton. And amidst all of this, the fandoms of both Lewis Hamilton and Shakira appear to be blessing the couple on the boat rather than the one spotted in the paddock of the Miami GP last Sunday. 

The fans were quick to connect the dots as they admired the hottest couple in town. They were also happy for both, as they didn’t want Shakira, who recently divorced footballer Gerard Pique, to be dating the Top Gun Maverick star. Most of the fans cited Tom’s association with Scientology for their dislike, whereas some just did it because they could.

However, all of this could turn things around in the friendship between Hamilton and Cruise, as it was the latter who offered a chance to the Mercedes driver to act in Top Gun Maverick. Nevertheless, everything so far has been rumored and nothing substantial has been reported.

As soon as the pictures of the rumored couple under the sun on a boat surfaced, social media blew up. The fans expressed happiness for the duo, and if not that, they at least hoped for a Shakira and XNDA collab.

Having allegedly chosen Lewis to be her first partner after her split, the Latin pop star was hailed for her choice as one of the two biggest fandoms came together to support the couple and thrash Tom Cruise.

After the photos came to light, Tom Cruise came under a scathing attack from mostly Shakira’s fans. For them, it was a positive development as they had disliked the Tom-Shakira couple right from the Miami GP. Hence, this acted as a good development for many of them as a few believed that the 46-year-old singer wore the purple dress because of its link with the Briton.

This is the second rumored couple of an F1 driver with a pop singer within a month. However, unlike the previous one, which just turned out to be gossip, this has more evidence for the fans.
