The world and humanity are currently witnessing a very tumultuous period of our existence. There are countries going to war against each other, with tensions boiling over the tipping point. Russia and Ukraine took the attention of the world and now it’s Israel and Palestine. The Israeli armed forces have been bombing Palestine since 7th September and the world is watching in sheer disbelief. These shockingly gruesome incidents have taken the internet by surprise and Max Verstappen‘s girlfriend Kelly Piquet is doing her part to speak up against it.

Many often forget the power of voicing their opinion or concerns and suffer in silence. People chose to stay silent with a simple thought of “What difference will it make?” and this is exactly where the unity breaks. A united front against any regime can achieve the unimaginable, and that is exactly why speech and its freedom is such a powerful tool that everyone must exercise. The sense of belonging an individual feels just with the simple knowledge that there is someone out there thinking about them and speaking up about the horrors they’re being subjected to is powerful enough to keep them going and keep them from giving up which is where half the battle is lost.

So Kelly Piquet has a message for everyone who feels “What difference will it make?”. She posted her counter-argument on her Instagram story which read, “‘But what can I do? I am just one person’ said 7 billion people…”
