Right now, many know that Max Verstappen is big on the entire sim-racing fad. Although he uses a much more advanced simulator at Red Bull HQ, he is known to stream his simulation racing from home too. For hardcore F1 fans, playing the F1 game by EA is the closest many can get to driving an F1 car, and for many, that’s a lot of fun.

For everyone who draws a parallel between gaming and F1, there is some amazing news from EA. Formula 1 2024 is coming out soon, and this time, it’s the Red Bull champion who is at the forefront of the game. Of the Champions edition at least!

While some racers suggest against getting into simulation racing, Max Verstappen has always favored it. This way, Verstappen can jump into any car and drive around any circuit anywhere in the world. Now, for anyone sitting at home, this is possible too with the F1 games. But the latest edition comes as a treat for Red Bull fans, as Max Verstappen gets himself an exclusive cover in a special edition.

Although the game features Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, and Lando Norris on the cover of the standard edition, the 3-time world champion found himself posing for a Champions edition cover. The F1 game has been around since 2000, and it was only in 2021 that EA re-acquired the rights for the game. And considering how dominant Verstappen has been over the past few years, it’s only fair that he gets himself a champion’s cover.

Looking at how Max Verstappen has been driving, it seems like he is on the path to bringing home another trophy, considering Ferrari does not get in the way. If that were to happen, Max Verstappen would join the greater leagues and become one of the 5 drivers with 4 or more World Championship titles. Knowing this, it becomes obvious why he gets the Champions edition all to himself. For all the players who are eager to get into the action, here is all that you need to know about EA Sports’s F1 2024.
