When I am 40, then I will no longer race. Then I will eat what I want. I’m getting as fat as a pudding sandwich,” said Max Verstappen, dreaming of the times when he wouldn’t have to adhere to a strict diet. However, this fantasy was cut short by his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet. This probably indicated who the boss was at home. However, in a recent revelation, Red Bull TP, Christian Horner has spilled beans on another person who isn’t afraid of the ruthless driver.

The fearless person is Gianpiero Lambiase, or GP, as we know him. He is an extremely integral part of Verstappen’s career. Max had once even declared that the day GP stops will be the day he will hang his boots as well. The duo enjoys a close association, but perhaps that comes with the brutal honesty required to keep growing. And this is what Horner has highlighted.

As quoted by the Express, he said, “GP is simply not afraid to speak his mind. The dynamic between the two is so intense that in between you have to ask yourself who is supposed to be the driver and who is supposed to be the engineer here.”
