Ambition and dreams are one of the 2 biggest factors that push an F1 driver. Aiming higher than before in every race is something the whole grid wants to do in their career. Even when you are the best driver in the world, there is always more to achieve. And such is the case of Lewis Hamilton, the record-holding seven-time world champion.

The single biggest question out there is, will Lewis Hamilton win his eighth title? Will Ferrari make it happen? Mercedes has not been performing and it already seems impossible for him to beat Verstappen this year. But will 2025 be a different story? While everyone was thinking about the question, Guenther Steiner spoke to Sky Sports to discuss the same.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the former Haas Team Principal talked about the current world champion situation where Lewis Hamilton is looking for his record-breaking 8th title. During the interview, Steiner was asked, “Do you think will ever win the elusive eight-world title….you think it’s possible?”

To this, he replied, “I think nothing is impossible and as you will know, in 2026, there will be a complete new regulation, engine and chassis-wise.” The new regulations will definitely bring about changes. It feels like a soft reset of the grid, where teams will have to recalibrate themselves. Continuing his stance on Hamilton’s move to the Prancing Horse, he said, “If Ferrari produces a good car, it could be possible that he gets his eighth championship.”

Ferrari has been strong this year but on the other hand, Lewis Hamilton is yet to shine. The W15 might still take time before it’s competitive again, but this will not be the last chance he gets. Ferrar’s SF24 is quite fast and hopefully, the 2025 model will do better. In the right combination, Hamilton can still bag the title before the regulations change, and also for a year after that, as his contract currently stretches till 2026.

But this interview and journalism are not the only thing going on for the Drive to Survive favorite and former Haas team boss. He has moved on to becoming a pundit for German broadcaster RTL and has even more in store for him.

Guenther Steiner–the ambassador of the Miami Grand Prix

In some other recent news, the former Haas team principal has been announced as the ambassador for the Miami GP. His influence has grown ever since he became one of the most lovable team principals. Being fired during last season, Guenther Steiner has been making sure that the F1 world does not forget him.
