Although Mercedes ran riot during qualifying, Racing Point pulled off a huge surprise with Lance Stroll in 3rd place. However, while Sergio Perez made it a Racing Point 3-4, he had a hugely uncomfortable time.
As it turned out, the Mexican driver suffered from a few dizzy spells in Hungary but managed to persevere.
Q3 got off to a bad start when the stewards deleted his first lap time for exceeding track limits at Turn 4. The good news was that he managed to put in a decent lap and slot into P4.

However, he later revealed that his loss of equilibrium manifested itself while the session dragged on, too long for his liking. He admitted that he was happy with the result and praised the team but also confessed that he did not have it easy.
Speaking to the media, he said, “During qualifying, I wasn’t feeling 100% physically. For some reason, I started to feel dizzy during the session.”

In spite of his obvious discomfort, he was extremely thrilled about the result.
Will this affect Sergio Perez on Sunday?
Fortunately for the Racing Point driver, he does not believe that this medical issue will affect him on Sunday. Instead, he is aiming to help the team rack up a decent haul of points, especially with medium tyres on.
