Lando Norris is a DJ, golfer, entrepreneur, and gamer. He’s an F1 driver too, lest you forget. But it looks like his versatility is not doing him any favors with F1 fans. We hear he has been christened with a new name that’s not particularly applauding.

The young driver has been a part of F1 for 4 years now. He was a part of McLaren in 2018 as their test and reserve driver, and was promoted to a full-time driver in 2019. But in the 4 years, he has largely blown hot and cold.

In case his record doesn’t catch your eye, Norris, now in his 4th full season, is yet to secure a GP win. While that doesn’t make him the holder of any unenviable records, it still is a mark on his otherwise impressive CV.

On other stats as well, Lando doesn’t fare too well. He has only been able to secure 6 podium finishes, with 4 of them coming in 2021.

He was asked about his record recently, “I would say even between 2022 to 2023 I’m not expecting realistically a win or a couple of wins. For me my confidence is in 2024 and 2025, and until then I need to play a little bit of the patience game.”

Lando is still young and has a bright future lying ahead of him. He is contracted with McLaren until 2025, and if the team is ready to support him, it’s not too long before he’ll start picking up wins.

Social media renamed Lando Norris something he wouldn’t be too happy with it

Social media isn’t as forgiving as Zak Brown is. People caught on to a recent photo Lando posted with soccer star, Son Heung-min and have been making hilarious memes about it.

Here are some great reactions.

McLaren will be hoping next year will be different for the team with 2 supremely talented young drivers driving for them. Lando too will be hoping to grab his first win as early as possible.
