The 2021 engine will improve the exhaust and combustion of the power unit. According to the rumors, “There will be an intervention to also improve the recovery of electricity from the MGU-H with a turbo that will be slightly smaller to favor a faster response time.
“In short, Ferrari will not make a revolution: it is excluded that turbo and compressor are spaced as Mercedes and Honda have chosen, at Maranello they preferred not to affect the architecture of the power unit, but the novelty puzzle should result in an increase in power (especially for average values) of about thirty horses,” read the report.
