As teams prepare for the Turkish Grand Prix in Istanbul, one of the most talked-about topics is whether Lewis Hamilton will use a new engine for the race. If the Mercedes driver does opt for a new power unit, he would start at the back of the grid.
However, Team Principal Toto Wolff is skeptical if they will use a new engine for this weekend. But at the same time doesn’t cross the idea, as there is rain predicted for the race.

The title fight between Hamilton and arch-rival Max Verstappen has never been this intense. Additionally, there are rumors about Lewis getting a new power unit which could make the race more interesting. However, Wolff doesn’t think a new engine would be used unless there are chances of rain.
As quoted by SoyMotor Wolff said, “It is very unlikely that Lewis will debut a power unit in Turkey, unless he has a problem in training.”
