Max Verstappen currently holds the most enviable position in the driver’s championship. After a stellar showing in Monaco, the Dutchman leapfrogged Lewis Hamilton to take top spot in the drivers’ standings.

In addition to that, Red Bull shot to the top of the constructor’s championship, ensuring Mercedes dropped the lead for the first time since 2018. The Austrian outfit certainly threw down the gauntlet after Monaco, and Verstappen has now laid out his hopes for this season.

In 2019, the Briton sealed the title in the US Grand Prix, two races before Abu Dhabi. Across these seasons, Red Bull, their fiercest rivals, have often faded in the second half of the season. This season, however, Red Bull look far different from their former selves.
