McLaren driver Lando Norris is a certifired laugh riot and has never failed to entertain the fans. His camaraderie with his teammate Carlos Sainz Jr is practically a bromance. In addition to that, his social media game is on point and hilarious, it is no wonder that he has been dubbed the Meme Lord.
During the penultimate day of pre-season testing, Norris was a bit bored while Sainz manned the wheel. So to kill time, the British youngster decided to film an amateur stop-motion movie. The McLaren-produced movie is an ‘unofficial’ spin-off of The Lego Movie, titled, “Carlos and Lando: the Lego Movie”.
Lando Norris directs and stars in this blockbuster short film which also features Carlos Sainz Jr. Needless to say, Lando Norris had plenty of fun in this project, but the question is, will he submit it to the Academy Awards?

How did the F1 community react to the directorial debut of Lando Norris?
The response to the short film was tremendous, although the ‘famed movie critic’ Alexander Albon tried to troll Norris. The Thai man noted, “Ok you have WAYYYYYY too much free time”.
Unfortunately, the other actor, Carlos Sainz, could not be reached for a comment on the impromptu movie. Apparently, he was out on track in Barcelona testing the McLaren MCL35. The Spaniard had the car all to himself on the penultimate day of testing.
