George Russell and Alex Albon have been playing video games and streaming it on twitch since the lockdown, and since then the duo has been making jokes at each other. The two have been going at each other, on the track and away from it. The internet loves the jokes that go on between the two Formula One drivers.

However, the banter between Russell and Albon reached a new high while playing the F1 game. The duo was racing around the Interlagos track in Brazil, where the infamous moment happened when Hamilton took Albon, which denied him his first potential podium.

The Williams driver gave Albon haunting memories to live again, as Russell tried to take out Albon at the same turn where Lewis Hamilton took him out back in the 2019 Grand Prix.

Russell teases Alex Albon  about Brazil

The two were doing a one-on-one race with each other around Interlagos, Albon was leading the race while his “rival” Russell was behind him. The same turn where Albon was taken out, Russell did the same but failed and sent himself into the gravel.

Albon said, ” He is such a sore loser” remembering the time when Hamilton took him out again in the opening race of 2020 in Austria. However, the Thai driver has made his peace and often laughs about the incident.

Alex Albon will be behind the wheel somewhere else in 2021

When Red Bull announced that they would go for Sergio Perez for the new season, that meant that Albon would lose his seat. The Mexican will partner up with Max Verstappen on the grid, whereas Albon will be their third driver.

However, Abon will drive in DTM in 2021. He would drive in Alpha Tauri car with Nick Cassidy. Albon said,” DTM is a great series with highly talented drivers in the field and exciting racing.  I’ve only driven a ‘tin top’ once… and they’re really different to single seaters. There’s a lot less downforce and the tyres are very different, so it requires a different kind of driving style.”

Hopefully, Albon can shine that series and bring that experience back into F1 and prove everyone wrong, and bring some more banter on the actual F1 track with his mate George Russell.
