The McLaren lad from the UK is a heartthrob among fans. Besides being great on the track, he is also active in the world of virtual racing and gaming. So, what changed the Briton in his two years in the sport?

Auto Motor Und Sport’ Andreas Haupt got in an exclusive with Lando Norris and asked him the same question. His answer is the glowing edifice of how much the lad has imbibed onto himself.

“Working with the team. My performance engineer, my race engineer, my engine engineer. You are there to help me. And I have to support them the other way around,” concluded McLaren no. 4.

Well, this is the answer that arises out of considerable experience on the track. Given his short two years on track, it is hard to believe that he has learned so much. However, this knowledge at such a tender age will get him far.

“I have to get the maximum out of my group so that I can deliver the maximum,” rang Lando’s epiphany.

Lando Norris has unlocked the truth to this mystery. He does no formality by being with his team throughout. He understands that it is essential for him to know the team well if he wants to work with them.

When Haupt asked him what was his reason to stay back on Sunday to help the team pack up, his answer was according to his habit. He clarified that it is not a formality to indulge with the team. It is rather how every racer should be.

“It’s not something I have to do. I do this because I enjoy it. Because we laugh together. Because we create memories. I enjoy that.

“As a bonus, they do their job faster. If I help, they’ll be ready earlier and can go to the hotel and relax sooner,” highlighted Norris.

Lando Norris displays the experience of a veteran racer in the body of a young lad. Well, he is dripping with promise in his racing and looks to a bright future ahead of him. Of course, he will have a huge team clapping for him when he gets up on that podium.
