The 2021 F1 season was one of the fiercest we have seen in recent F1 history. And though the battle between the two frontrunners invited the most traction, several midfield battles were equally intense. Naturally, drivers needed a break after a draining stint of a 22-race calendar. They were off for some family time amidst festivities during the winter break.

However, now with nearly a month left before the winter testing of 2022 cars, where are your favorite F1 drivers?

Lando Norris- The Mclaren prodigy was last seen vacationing in Dubai with girlfriend Luisinha and other friends. There are no further updates on what he is doing these days.

Lewis Hamilton- Most anticipated of all, the seven-time world champ has been away from the social media glare since the Abu Dhabi GP. He was knighted last month in Windsor Castle and his last public appearance was in Brackley in December.

Valtteri Bottas- The Finn has shifted to the Alfa Romeo team and will join them soon for the winter testing. He is currently vacationing in South Australia with partner Tiffany Cromwell. There are no updates on his training schedule yet.

Sergio Perez- The Mexican star recently got vaccinated, he shared a picture of himself getting jabbed with a caption saying, “For me, for you and for all”. There is no update on his training schedule as of yet.

Sebastian Vettel- The 4-time world champion maintains distance from social media even after being an important figure in the world of F1. He is gearing up for the upcoming season with the Aston Martin team. The team has made a fresh addition in the form of Mike Krack as the new team principal who has a long-standing history of working with the German star.

Drivers have started with their training schedules

Some drivers have started the training for the next season.

Max Verstappen- F1 world champ Verstappen will look to defend his title in 2022. The first look of his all-new RB18 is out. In his latest Instagram post, the Red Bull star announced he has started with the training schedule for the 2022 season. The caption of his post read, “First week of preparing for season 2022”.

Charles Leclerc- The Monegasque had a cold 2021 season where he was outpaced by teammate Sainz frequently. However, he has also begun with the training for the next season in Italy, as per an Instagram post. Fans are waiting for a strong comeback from the Ferrari star next season.

Carlos Sainz- The Ferrari star recently announced he is back in the gym for a one-week training camp. The Spaniard had an exceptional 1st season with the Red Team and he will look forward to coming even stronger in 2022.

George Russell- The new Mercedes driver has started with the preparations of the 2022 season with the Silver Arrows team. He recently shared a picture of himself donning the Mercedes ensemble with a caption saying, “New Uniform”.

Daniel Ricciardo- The Aussie star took his first win with Mclaren in Italy last season, but the rest of the season was hot and cold for him. His latest Instagram post saw him spending time with his nephew in his hometown. Ricciardo’s performance coach Michael Italiano recently said that the “Honey Badger” is preparing for a strong comeback in 2022.
