The Formula One community would think that the Mercedes driver would go back to Monaco, to recover and come back stronger for next season. However, that is not the case as Hamilton is off to Windsor Castle to get his Knighthood, which is scheduled for the 15th of December, Wednesday.

This elevates the driver to still another level of acclaim. Sir Jackie Stewart, Sir Stirling Moss, and Sir Jack Brabham are the other three F1 drivers who have received this honor. This award will be presented to Lewis Hamilton, actor David Suchet, and music director Donald Runnicles.
