Real Madrid have been one of the top teams in La Liga. Given how accomplished they are and the number of trophies they have, winning a trophy every year is pretty much an expectation for the Spanish giants.

This certainly hurt the Los Blancos, who relied on their available roster. While they did have young players like Martin Odegaard and Dani Ceballos in their side, they made a huge blunder by sending the duo on loan. This backfired for Los Merengues who saw the wrath of injuries which ultimately cost them the La Liga title.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to keep Martin Odegaard
While loaning out Ceballos and Odegaard did hurt them last season, the duo did have incredible performances when they were on loan in Premier League giants Arsenal. The Norwegian Odegaard was essential in the Gunners’ offense as he regularly created chances for the Londoners.
While Real stuck to their experienced midfield-trio of Kroos, Modric and Casemiro, chance creation was a big problem for the side. Odegaard can certainly be a big help for the Los Blancos in this regard.
