England and Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has been facing a lot of trouble with injuries. He was playing with a back and shoulder injury all through last season. There is a lot of speculation about him getting surgery and the impact it would have on his 2021/22 season.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stressed no decision has yet been taken over whether Marcus Rashford requires an operation. Rashford is currently enjoying a break along with the rest of the English contingent, who reached the final of the UEFA Euro 2020.

When asked by reporters at Pride Park whether he could confirm any plans for Rashford after the 2-1 friendly win over Derby County, Ole said he was not yet in a position to do so. Manchester United’s official page revealed the details, with Adam Marshall reporting on it.

No, we’re looking at the best options,” said the manager. “Of course, he went away just to reflect on it a little bit. We have to take the best course of action for him and the club. We’re still addressing that with the experts.”

Ole also lauded United’s performance in the win. Young stars Tahith Chong and Facundo Pellistri provided the goals as a very young United side got the win over Derby, who have former Manchester United player Wayne Rooney as the manager.
