Marvel’s crossover season with Fortnite has been going strong for a while. The season has attracted various players from both fan bases, significantly increasing the game’s audience. On Marvel’s end, the comic book company has released a Marvel x Fortnite series of comics as part of the crossover. Since then, Epic Games has been gradually adding elements from the comics to the game.

The most exciting part of this crossover for Fortnite fans has been the arrival of Marvel superheroes. These superheroes have come in as character skins as well as a part of various LTMs. Almost all the heroes from the Marvel comic poster have made their way to the island, barring a few major ones.

The latest tweet from Fortnite hints towards the arrival of a fan-favorite superhero from Marvel.

Fans speculate the arrival of Venom or Spider-Man to Fortnite

Epic teased the arrival of Venom for a long time. Moreover, there are many videos on the internet that speculate Venom’s introduction to the game soon enough.

On the other hand, going by the pattern adopted, Spider-Man is also a seemingly plausible candidate. He is one of the few superheroes remaining from the Marvel comic art who hasn’t appeared in the game yet.

Looking at the silhouette from the image, it could very well be either Venom or a version of Spider-Man. A lot of fans want to see the massive anti-hero make an entry. On the other hand, there are many who want to see the friendly neighborhood superhero swing around the island.

One person rooting for Spider-Man camp is none other than Nick Eh 30.

In this case, there might be good news for both groups of fans. In an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, SypherPK had talked about the crossover event.

“Yeah, actually, Donald Mustard, the creative director (for Fortnite), he was on a podcast recently. And he mentioned that the story that they’re building still has years before it’s done. So the story has been going on for three years, leading up to now, the Marvel collaboration. But he says that the story in itself still has a few more years before it’s complete.”

Considering that the event could pan over two complete seasons, there is enough time for Epic to add both Venom and Spider-Man to the game and attract even more players to the game.
