Things have been really exciting this Marvel-themed season in Fortnite. Chapter 2 Season 4 has been successful in bringing together fans of Marvel and the game and is on its way to replenish the lost player base of the game. This season unites some of the mightiest heroes from the Marvel universe on the Fortnite map in the fight against Galactus. In order to integrate the storyline into the game, devs have been adding various landmarks or POIs to the map.

Although it has been only a couple of weeks since the season kicked off, the map already has 3 new landmarks. First, there was the Ant Manor, and then the Black Panther monument following the demise of Chadwick Boseman. And now, the map has a new landmark known as ‘The Collection’.

The name appears to give a subtle nod to the Marvel character called The Collector. As the fans know, The Collector is one of the Elders of the Universe who collects various intriguing artifacts and life forms from around the entire cosmos. The Collection landmark looks like a museum, with various objects from various seasons of the game preserved in glass exhibits. This landmark is located on the south of Retail Row and the north-east of Catty Corner.

Players can find the tilted tower’s clock from Chapter 1, the egg found in the iceberg from the 7th Season, and an old black and white picture of Tomato Town. In addition to this, the museum also features a model of the rocket from the Blast Off event (Chapter 1 Season 4).

What is interesting is that the beacons that have been on the map since this season, seem to get stronger with the addition of each landmark. It is not clear, however, what role these landmarks will play. But the game is gradually unfolding what it has in store, and players are as excited as ever!
