Fortnite Season 5 is close to a wrap with the upcoming final week challenges. In addition, players might get a few overtime challenges before Season 6 is finally here. Hardworking dataminers have already leaked what is to come in Fortnite Week 9.

We have some epic and legendary quests lined up for Week 9 in Season 5 of Fortnite. However, this time a few challenges might feel a bit tougher than most. But if you are one of those players who are yet to unlock a few tiers in the Battle Pass, now is your chance.

Epic and Legendary quests provide a massive amount of XP upon completion. However, XP is always a one-time thing. Therefore, many players have obtained a strategy where they save as many challenges as they can, to complete in the end and get an XP boost. It is extremely helpful to get an XP boost when going beyond level 100.

Week 9 Epic quests in Fortnite Season 5

  • Find a hidden bunker??? (0/1)
  • Find the crashed plane’s black box (0/1)
  • Deal damage while in water (0/200)
  • Emote at stone statues (0/1)
  • Ride the Steamy Stacks (0/1)
  • Deal damage to a Loot Shark (0/500)

The hidden bunker and plane crash quests might be the ones carrying the hints about what is coming in Fortnite Season 6.

Week 9 Legendary Quests

There is only one legendary quest which will involve shaking down opponents in a match. A total of 25 opponents need to be shaken down and this can be a pretty easy job for players who grind in Duos or Squads. If you are a solo player, this might actually be a tough challenge.

However, there are a lot of ways to earn XP in Fortnite and many players can choose to ignore this challenge.

Week 9 challenges will go live in the game on January 28 at 9am EST/2pm GMT.
