Epic Games recently released the season trailer for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, and it looks really promising. The theme of the season is out of this world as aliens take over the island. Moreover, players saw primal weapons with the prehistoric theme in Season 6. Similarly, Season 7 is going to have new futuristic weapons to fit the theme.

As the primal theme leaves Fortnite, major map changes are also going to arrive. No more prehistoric setting with fry patches of land and bones lying around. Instead, the map will be full of cosmic landscapes with alien technology lying around. Additionally, Chapter 2 Season 7 will also introduce a new point of interest to the map.

Epic Games had removed sniper rifles from the game back when Season 6 began. However, it faced a lot of criticism for this decision. Therefore, Fortnite is going to see the return of snipers in Season 7, along with lever-action rifles and launch pads.

Apart from the weapons that are returning, Epic Games has also added the new Pulse Rifle, which is a fully automatic rifle. It will deal 33 damage to the enemies with a magazine size of 16. The gun also has a mythic version which will deal 38 damage instead and has a much quicker reload time.

Epic decided to change the name of the Sweaty Sands location to Believer Beach. Whether there are any visible changes to the location is still not certain. However, this is the only location on the map that has a new name. Apart from this, the map is majorly unchanged, with some purple areas around the map to fit the theme.

The Fortnite map also gets a new place of interest called Corny Complex. This would replace the place where Raz was located and instead advance the alien theme. It is going to be a cornfield with mysterious designs, as shown in alien movies from popular culture.
