The new Exotic Grappler Bow in Fortnite

Players can find this weapon by meeting with the recently introduced Lara Croft NPC. Fans can find this NPC on Stealthy Stronghold where can they trade the weapon for 500 Gold Bars. Along with the fast movement players get by using it, the weapon also gives 89 damage per hit. Additionally, it only takes a second to reload the bow, making it a very overpowered gun in the game.

SypherPK and Nick Eh 30 got to play with it following its release, and both of them gave similar opinions on it. Both of them were highly impressed with the mobility the weapon provides. Sypher even thought that he would want this gun to be in his loadout during any matches.

SypherPK and Nick Eh 30 baffled by no fall damage

The bow has a lot of cool features that players will love. One of the few reasons why this weapon will become a force to reckon with is the lack of fall damage while using it. Players can use it all the time in tricky situations like build battles in higher altitudes. Nick Eh 30 couldn’t even believe it when he tested it for the first time.

“You don’t take fall damage, dude, that is crazy.”

SypherPK even explained why this weapon is much better than the original grappler gun introduced eons ago. He believes that because of the lack of fall damage while jumping from higher altitudes, players won’t have to worry about mistiming the shot.

“Unlike the grappler, the grappler doesn’t yank you up immediately as you make contact, so what happens with the grappler is that you could still fall to your death pretty easily as you’re falling down.”

Currently, it has a lot of overpowered features even though it has a very low rarity. It will be interesting to see if Epic Games nerfs the weapon in a future update.
