Following a tweet from Scuderia Ferrari, fans found out about the manufacturer adding one of its new models in the 296 GTB to the game. The car has a V6 Hybrid, and it will produce 654 BHP. It has a top speed of 205 mph, and it looks beautiful and should attract a lot of players to drive it on the Island.

Ferrari continues to become more popular following Fortnite collaboration

Ferrari has found a great way to market the iconic brand to the younger generation, and it seems like the manufacturer is only getting more popular. The Ferrari 296 GTB will cost around $320,000 in the real world. This money can allow any player to buy millions of V-Bucks on Fortnite. The purists of the brand have condemned the move as they believe that a collaboration with a ‘kids’ game tarnishes the company’s image.

However, it makes perfect sense for the Italian manufacturers to advertise their products in a game like Fortnite. Before the collaboration, Ferrari made a name for itself by developing iconic cars like the LaFerrari, F40, 250 GTO and many more. Along with that, they became widely popular because of their success in motorsports, especially with Formula 1. With the team’s struggling performance, a step into a different direction should always help gain new fans.

Ferrari’s quest for an F1 Championship continues

Scuderia Ferrari last won a constructor championship 13 years ago with Felipe Massa 2007 WDC Kimi Raikkonen. Along with that, Raikkonen is also the last Ferrari driver to win a World Drivers Championship for the Prancing Horses.
