Creative Director Dan Vondrak also had his inputs on the game. He revealed that the game is set in the 80s, at the height of the Cold War. As we know, the game is a direct sequel to the Black Ops 1 game. Hence, a lot of familiar faces return.

The game will also feature character creation where users can create their own character at the beginning of the game. It will also include side objectives in missions, multiple paths, and multiple endings to the game. It will be interesting to see what ‘Perseus’ is planning after missing for 13 long years.

Fall Guys Season 2

The highly anticipated Fall Guys Season 2 sneak-peek is here, and it takes us to the medieval era. It will bring us a wide array of new costumes that range from dragons, witch, magician, and knight. The levels will be medieval-themed and there will be a load of new additions to the mix.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond was definitely a refreshing surprise. It takes us on a nostalgic trip back to the old games, only this time, you can experience it in VR. The game is designed for players to experience the WW2 as a soldier. From what the trailer showed, it looks absolutely stunning. It has different scenarios, campaigns, vehicles, and weapons that were used in WW2 and players can experience them in the game. The preview looked highly immersive, and the game is set to release during Holiday 2020.

PlayStation 5: Sony Opens Pre-Order Registrations But There’s A Catch

Destiny 2: Beyond Light

This was probably one of the most anticipated announcements at the event. Beyond Light is the next chapter for the game. Take a look at the trailer below.

The DLC’s description reads “Power takes a new form and three new subclasses emerge: Shadebinders, Revenants, and Behemoths. Guardians will wield Stasis as they begin a perilous journey. A journey to a new destination in search of a dark empire and secrets frozen in time. Secrets that will reveal a power beyond understanding – beyond Light.

The DLC definitely shows a lot of promise, and the addition of 3 new subclasses will definitely make you want to rethink your strategy. Beyond Light will be available on November 10, 2020.

The gameplay reveals that Dr. Nefarious has a weapon called the ‘Dimensionator’, that allows one to travel to other dimensions. But when Ratchet attempts to destroy the weapon, all hell breaks loose. The duo fights their way to Nefarious but is separated as they fall into different dimensions. And there Clank meets the female Lombax.

Insomniac developers mentioned that the game will have no load screens at all. This is possible thanks to their lightning-fast SSD. This also enables them to shift the dimensions in the game almost instantly.

Moreover, the DualSense controller will also provide a more immersive experience for this game. They also mentioned that canonically, it is a sequel of the 2013 game Ratchet and Clank: Into The Nexus. But this will be more like a standalone title with a lot more surprises coming our way.

These were some of the biggest announcements made at the Gamescom Opening Night Live. Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
