Bethesda’s Xbox-exclusive sci-fi giant was supposed to be their long-awaited prodigy. But just few months post its launch, Starfield still remains as a case of ‘what could have been. Imagine being stuck in an all-out space war between major space travel factions. Sounds like a treat for action lovers traveling in the never-ending cosmos. For some, this may also seem like a ‘Star Wars’ pitch. Well, a Reddit user has shared a snippet of experiencing a grand-scale war between galactic empires from Bethesda’s Starfield!

I jumped to the Deimos Station to sign up for a job on Cydonia and it looks like all the factions had started an all-out war. I spent ages quietly flying from wreckage to wreckage picking up the debris salvage and maxed out my cargo which started as empty (4700),” the user explained. Furthermore, the player added how the combat went on for a very long time, even with the player exiting Deimos.

Such visuals inviting attention on the web do imply that there’s a lot left unexplored in the open-world territory. So, a space-scale combat does help to the appeal. Would it be enough? Considering the ‘mostly negative’ reviews for Starfield, there’s still a long way to go.

The game received mostly positive critical reception. Further, in its early months, it even managed to get over a million concurrent players. Yet, on Steam, it has mostly negative recent reviews.
