The Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is one of the most interesting parts of the game. Compared to Multiplayer and Warzone, it has a unique factor that keeps most of the fans hooked – infinite zombies and the opportunity to take them down. However, despite its captivating experience, there’s one more thing that keeps a lot of users in shock – recurring bugs and glitches.

The problem of glitches is present in all of Modern Warfare 3. Whether it’s Multiplayer, Warzone, or Modern Warfare Zombies, players haven’t got a moment without coming across a bug or two. But this situation recently took a weird twist when a player was sent up in the skies of Urzikstan!

A rare glitch allows players to fly limitlessly higher in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

Popular COD insider Detonated recently dropped a post on social media platform X. There was a video clip shared by the account, showing a brief gameplay session of a user called Khaos7X. Now, what makes this clip weird is that Khaos7X was seen flying in the sky. That’s not normal, though, as it was possibly a result of a glitch that somehow allowed them to fly infinitely higher than the standard limit set in the map of Urzikstan.

Another crucial point to note is that Khaos7X is seen holding the Scorcher in the video. For the uninitiated, it’s a Wonder Weapon that enables you to remain in the air, momentarily, during combat. That’s how this weapon works in general.

Although it’s just a speculation maybe the player reached unprecedentedly high in the sky due to some inexplicable side effect of using the Scorcher. It’s evident from the video the way they are seen going up constantly. That’s not something that has happened with any other player so far.

It seems like the devs didn’t check this rare glitch before revealing the Scorcher in MWZ under Season 1. Yes, it didn’t lead to any disadvantage to the player but it’s something they couldn’t ignore as well. Probably that’s the reason they decided to share it online.

So far, MW3 has witnessed other instances as well a glitch seemingly favored few players. For example, there was a bug that somehow allowed one team to get an alert when the enemy team used to defuse a planted bomb in Search and Destroy mode.

Then, there was another glitch that enabled the players to plant a bomb outside of the plane on the Terminal map. In the end, however, these two bugs were ultimately fixed by Sledgehammer.

Now, it will be crucial for the devs at Treyarch Studios (the team behind Modern Warfare Zombies) to address the current situation in relation to the Scorcher. The glitch attached to this weapon is harmless for now but it might become problematic going forward. Hence, it’s important for Treyarch Studios to deliver an effective solution soon.
