Eminem was just the beginning. The last two months of Fortnite have been action-packed with events and concerts. The game just finished the highly successful OG Season and the big bang event, which featured one of the greatest rappers of all time; the rap god himself. But Epic Games is in no mood to slow down. The developer is on a mission to ensure players experience the best festive season possible.

Along with the Big Bang event, Fortnite had announced 3 new game modes that would be added to the game. Now these modes will come as mini-games that will be added to Fortnite. Players will get to see the introduction of the Fortnite Festival coming in on December 9. And with that, the game will bring a lineup that will be difficult to forget anytime soon.

A post on RockBand’s official subreddit has disclosed all the musical acts coming to the Fortnite Festival. Players will get to see a long list of musicians perform some of their favorite tracks. The Festival will include a mini-game that players can play along with their friends.

Among all the amazing acts that are going to perform at the Fortnite Festival, The Weeknd will be the headlining act. The Weeknd released a trailer featuring different in-game skins of the artist performing his 2022 hit, Take My Breath. Players can expect to engage with The Weeknd’s music through the Fortnite Festival game mode.

While Fortnite itself is developed by Epic Games, the Festival game mode is developed by Harmonix, known for the Rock Band video game franchise. The new mini-game will feature RockBand-style gameplay where players need to tap buttons rhythmically to score points.

Fortnite has previously entered the music scene with events like Coachella Island in collaboration with Coachella, featuring a virtual world within Fortnite with mini-games, art installations, and festival-themed elements.
