Saurav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid were one of the pillars of Indian cricket when the team emerged from the shadows of match-fixing after the year 2000. The duo were the captain and the vice-captain when team India reached the finals of 2003 World Cup and started winning outside the subcontinent.

Ganguly and Dravid not only combined well on the field as batsmen but as captain and vice captain as well. The camaraderie which they shared on the field was always replicated off the field as well.

It was delight for the fans as they discovered that the usually shy Rahul Dravid could give our beloved Dada a run for his money.
