As the 2023 LPGA season comes to an eventual end, many interesting findings have presented themselves to the larger golf world. One such finding this season was Rose Zhang. The 20-year-old stirred the golf world with her stellar debut this season and her marvelous major finishes. Her name has been at the center of the chit-chat this season, thus provoking curiosity to take a deep dive into her big bag of earnings.

The American professional golfer’s rise to fame is due to a plethora of reasons. However, one interesting factor has been the intense way she has performed this year. Even after winning just one event throughout the season, Zhang has successfully managed to break the million-dollar threshold.

In just the springtime of her life, Zhang has credited herself with not just unimaginable accomplishments but also a net worth of an estimated $3 million. In this season alone, the 20-year-old golf maestro has earned a whopping total of $1,389,794 million. This is the sum of all her hard work in the 2023 season of the LPGA.

The Stanford star has a total of five top-ten finishes this season. Her highest finish was at the Mizuho Americas Open, where she won her debut event and created history. She bagged $412,500 out of a $2.75 million prize purse. In addition to bagging almost half a million from her success at her inaugural LPGA event as a professional, she also won $272,355 at the U.S. Women’s Open. The golf prodigy finished the major in ninth place and earned her second-highest prize money share of the season.

There was no stopping for this golf world pro. She went on to bag $214,811 by finishing tied for eighth at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, followed by a whopping $176,954 at the Maybank Championship, where she ranked third. The 2023 Maybank Championship was also Zhang’s second-highest finish this season. Additionally, she also earned a total of $122,100 at the Amundi Evian Championship, where she finished tied for ninth place.

Rose Zhang’s 2023 journey does not end here. Last month, the famous women’s golf star finished tied for 13th place in the CME Group Tour Championship, which fetched her $75,000. In November itself, she also finished T15 at the TOTO Japan Classic. Zhang went on to play in several other famous events and managed to finish in the top 50 in all of them.
