Tiger Woods has been battling with his past for a while now. On the one hand, he is trying to get over the damage caused by his accident and its aftermath. On the other, he is fighting a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman.

Amid all this commotion, we wondered how his relationship with his ex-wife is faring, as that relationship is another key aspect of Tiger Woods’s life. It would be unfair to call it a part of his past as the duo are still connected as co-parents. But what are the dynamics of their current relationship? 

The Family Reunion at the PNC

As co-parents of two children, Samantha and Charlie, Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren have been maintaining a friendly rapport over the years. She was present at the PNC tournament in 2022. The event led to an interesting interaction between the exes.

Before the tee shot, Tiger Woods had requested the camera to be set for a message to Elin. As Charlie and Tiger approached the tee box to begin their round, they took a moment to congratulate Nordegren on her newborn baby. 

Besides the warm moment shared in public, the two have been great friends, apparently. Speaking of the same, Tiger Woods explained their equation to Time Magazine during an interview. He spoke fondly of the friendship that they share. 

Woods admitted that although it was initially painful, to handle the divorce, he said things got better with time. He credited the Parenting program for bringing them together as two people who care about each other. The bond they share with their children, and with each other is beautiful, Woods said.

Meanwhile, there was also a rumor a while back about the potential romantic spark between the exes. Let’s clear the air around it.

Tiger Woods and Rumors go Hand in Hand

A popular magazine contemplated the possibility of Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren getting back together. It even alleged that Tiger Woods had proposed a re-marriage to Nordegren. Now that’s the kind of report that could fetch the limelight, but there is no publicly available evidence to support the claim.

Elin Nordegren, however, has been known to date NFL star Jordan Cameron since 2019. She gave birth to their first child in October 2019. There has not been any news about their relationship since then. Presumably, they might still be dating. 

Nordegren gave birth to her fourth child in December 2022, which was what the Father and Son duo congratulated her on during the PNC. It appears that the now split-up couple is caught in their own romantic lives and their joint co-parenting journey. Perhaps they really are best of friends as Tiger Woods had claimed.
