In a recent Instagram update, Asia Pacific Amateur Championship and Jessica Korda updated the fans with a collaborative post. The video clip posted is of Korda speaking of her playing experience in Melbourne in 2012 when she scored her first LPGA win. 

Australian golfer Jasper Stubbs won this year’s AAC held in Melbourne, and the video was posted prior to his win. Korda, in the clip, wished good luck to whoever was to take the trophy.

The golfer talked about the condition of the course at different holes. She mentions that there were six of them in the playoff, birdieing to their heart’s content. Reminiscing about the past, the player said, “The conditions that day were very windy.” It appeared that Melbourne, on her play day, stayed true to its character. The LPGA girl remarked, “Melbourne lived up to its reputation of giving all four seasons in one day. We had rain. We had a lot of wind.” 

Talking about her favorite hole, the player said, “My favorite hole was the 18th… making a putt in the playoff was a huge huge memory.” The golfer then talked about her overall experience and specifically mentioned the 7th hole as the most “open” hole.
