Does the outfit of a golfer play a significant role in getting noticed even more? Definitely, it does. These USGA and LPGA stars mostly wear hats and outfits sponsored by renowned brands. There are some who also prefer hats by brands Adidas and Callaway, and there are others who have the USA written on their hats.

This young 24-year-old player was spotted on the ground by a spectator who took a picture of her and posted it on Twitter with the caption, “What in the literal hell is HACI”

How was the public’s reaction to Yin’s unusual hat?

This post has reached up to 7k views as of now. People didn’t seem to have been bothered or take offense to what Yin commented. Rather they took the matter lightly and started guessing the reason behind her odd attire.

Many came up with the assumption that it denotes the ‘Hacienda Golf Club’. Even previously in a few tournaments, Yin was seen wearing hats like this one with, ‘HACI’ written on them. One such tournament was the HSBC Women’s World Championship at Sentosa Club in 2022. But since Yin didn’t address the subject directly or provide a reason behind it, nothing could be finally known.

Thus, the affair is still contradictory, and a clear hypothesis could not be drawn. Yin neither denied nor accepted any of these postulated theories. But unless she is vocal about her intention behind wearing that hat, it is incorrect to come up with anything solid.

Why do you think Yin wore that hat? Let us know in the comments below.
