The official Twitter handle of the Golf Channel has posted an update about the female GOAT golfer. Coming Sunday, Sorenstam’s decal will be sported on car number 26 at St. Petersburg. Colton Herta, the driver of the car in question, has agreed to showcase the golfer’s decal on his car while he races and aces. However, the female pro herself shared the news of this collaboration on her Instagram story.

In an interview, the Hall of Fame golfer expressed her happiness and said, “I’m excited to be the grand marshal of the first INDYCAR race of the year in St. Petersburg to help kick off both the racing season and Women’s History Month.” Becoming a grand marshal is a massive achievement for her and all the women she represents. However, entertainer and TV/film actor Trace Adkins will also be part of the Grand Prix. He will sing the National Anthem while two F-16 Fighting Falcons from Homestead Air Reserve Base fly over the track.
