A major like the Masters is known for its various traditions and the level of skill that it boasts in the field. But there’s one more aspect that stands out for the patrons who attend the event: none other than delectable food. Interestingly, the Pimento Cheese sandwich is one of the most famous among them and a favorite delicacy for many. However, for Paige Spiranac, it doesn’t seem to be so.

The ravishing American shared a picture on her X handle (formerly Twitter) divulging her favorite delicacy at the prestigious club. But what surprised the community was that she went ahead and ignored the iconic sandwich that has remained a tradition of the tournament, all the while advocating another.

The blonde beauty, through a snap of herself holding the food in her hands, mentioned through her caption, “Peach ice cream sandwich is the best sandwich at Augusta no question.” Surprisingly, the delicacy, which costs $2.50 and is listed under ‘Snacks’ on the 2024 Masters menu, for Spiranac and her friend Samantha Marks, seems to have beaten the likes of the Pimento Cheese Sandwich.

Meanwhile, the blend of pimiento, cheese, and mayonnaise on white bread has been marked at $1.50 under the ‘Sandwiches’ section. What’s more, the simple yet tasty food item has made itself a part of the tradition at the tournament.

The supplier for the delicacy found itself changing throughout time along with its glory. Interestingly, the original chef of the snack was Nick Rangos from Aiken, South Carolina who supplied the ANGC with the food item for a whopping 45 years, after which they switched contracts. Anyhow, it finally came back to its original flavor in 2018. Regardless of the conventions, Spiranac seems to have made her decisions, and her fans reacted as well.

Spiranac’s favorite delicacy breaks the internet

Even the 30-year-old wouldn’t have imagined the amount of responses such a tweet would rake in just hours after posting. Fascinatingly, although many did use this chance to compliment her beauty, a lot of comments circled around her choice of food, with some agreeing with her decisions.

Paige Spiranac has always been an avid fan of the Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich, especially since it aligns so well with her diet plans. Back in 2023, she had revealed the same all the while sharing her love for being “curvy.” As she did so, the diva made sure to express her love for the Masters Tournament’s snack as she jokingly asked how could she not have a peach ice cream sandwich since her routine allowed her to do so. Well, many of her fans do agree with her, as they responded with the likes of “I would like one of those”, and “I will try it if I ever get to go.” However, the cream of the crop came when a follower agreed with her; “I had some peach lemonade the other day for the first time and I agree there’s something to it”

That’s not all. While many did come forward to let her know they would try out the snack when they visited Augusta, others who already did also came forward to agree with Paige Spiranac. Despite the ingredients and recipe remaining undisclosed to the outside world, the Pimento Cheese sandwich has made itself a part of the Masters’s tradition. Similarly, the food item made from peach ice cream has also made its mark among the various patrons as they responded; “You are 100% accurate…again. When I was there I had three.” But even so, a follower couldn’t help but inquire about the Pimento Cheese Sandwich as they commented, “Yum. Have not been in a couple years. Don’t recall that being on the super affordable menu. You look like you are enjoying. Pimento?”

As always, there will be enthusiasts having a different opinion. But, this time around, the follower pointed out how the salads are much better than the sandwiches; “Wrong. The egg salad sandwich is worth dying for.” Regardless, seeing the patrons and the fans, including Paige Spiranac, enjoying themselves off the course does paint a beautiful picture of the major championship of the sport.
