Jack William Nicklaus is widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers of all time. Nicklaus is a retired American professional golfer and golf course designer. He is also popularly known as ‘The Golden Bear.’ The retired pro golfer has a long legacy with the PGA Tour.

Recently, Nicklaus shared his opinions about the ongoing LIV Golf vs PGA Tour rivalry. The pro golfer shared what he feels about the new changes made by the Tour and its predicted impact on its legacy.

Nicklaus is no stranger to anyone involved in the world of golf. The retired pro golfer has had a legacy of being so highly skilled at the sport that his talent is incomparable.

Jack serves as an inspiration to golf fanatics all around. Nicklaus has made a choice of sticking to the PGA Tour. Nicklaus confirmed that he turned down a $100 million offer to become the CEO of LIV Golf a few months back.

He said, “I turned it down. Once verbally, and once in writing. I said, ‘Guys, I have to stay with the PGA Tour. I helped start the PGA Tour.’”

Nicklaus had to turn it down. He did help launch the PGA Tour. It would have killed his legacy. However, Norman and Phil have every reason to launch the LIV Tour. It was time to create competition and mix it up. Good luck to them. They’ve already made a mark in less than a year.
