In the latest episode of her podcast, Playing a Round With Paige Renee, Spiranac went on to back Justin Thomas for the Ryder Cup. She said that we can talk all we want and speculate all we want, but eventually, we will see Justin Thomas play at the Ryder Cup.

She was asked by her co-host, who is also her best friend, as confirmation if she for sure thought so. The host, however, disagreed with Paige and said: “as much as I love Justin Thomas in the Ryder Cup. I think I will think less of Zach Johnson if he picks him.”

And the host continued by saying, “I don’t think he’s worthy of it this year.” The host thought picking someone so low in merit would not be the right move for the Captain. In Thomas’ defense, Spiranac said that he is one of those players who add significantly to the team since they are wonderful match-play players and they show great team camaraderie.

Zach Johnson is the captain of the US Ryder Cup team and has six picks at his disposal. Not being able to seal automatic qualification, the only way Thomas can now break into the 12-member squad is that Johnson makes him one of his six picks. In the podcast, Spiranac continued playing up the 30-year golfer.

According to Paige Spiranac, Justin Thomas is a fiery feisty player and can make up for his poor performances so far with a splendid performance at the Ryder Cup kicking off in late September in Rome. Could this prediction also come true like her last wild prediction?
