The U.S. Open Championship has weighed every golf enthusiast’s calendar this month. This annual event is staged by the USGA every year in mid-June. The U.S. Open has been held at a number of locations over the years, and this year this prestigious Championship will be hosted by the Los Angeles Country Club from June 15th to 18th.

This year the U.S. Open received a lot of entries but to qualify it and earn yourself a place on the leaderboard is quite a competition for all golfers. And Brooks Koepka is no exception to this competition, however, given his past performances he may stand a chance to make a presence in the event this June.

The U.S. Open is no joke when it comes to major championships. One has to bend over backward to earn a position in this event. And it’s not just a player’s reputation but also one’s fitness level, personal commitments, and also overall schedule that play a vital role in making an entry into the Championship.

Many LIV and PGA golfers have these conditions met and have become eligible to play in the upcoming U.S. Open. Out of 11 LIV players, Brooks Koepka is also going to be competing at the event. Brooks Koepka stole the limelight with his stellar performance at the 2023 PGA Championship in May. The American Golf Pro earned his fifth major title with this win. He also became the first LIV golfer to win a major title.

Other than the PGA Championship, Koepka also gave fans an eyeful performance at the Charles Schwab Challenge, and most recently he was also featured at Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial tournament. With such a massive success record, Brooks Koepka made himself eligible to play in the U.S. Open Championship this year.

As fans get in the zone to witness one of the greatest golf events of the year, curiosity builds to find out who will all be competing on the green for the winner’s title. Other than 33-year-old Brooks Koepka, LIV players like Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, and Martin Kaymer will be spotted at the Los Angeles Country Club this week.
