Thomas Pieters is served with a shocking resignation

The Belgian golfer has started facing the heat of switching Tours right off the bat. After his very sudden and last-moment switch to LIV Golf, Pieters’ agent has dropped him.

The former PGA Tour player shared his agent Mark Steinberg with Tiger Woods. As soon as he landed in Mexico for the new season of LIV Golf, the golfer was presented with the news of his agent’s abrupt resignation. Why did Pieters leave the PGA Tour?

A few days ago, Pieters had come forward to explain the reason behind his move. He explained how living in a different part of the world does not allow him to play and be there for his family. He always has to miss out on either of the two.

Moreover, he also said he never planned to be a permanent member of the PGA Tour. LIV Golf had been on his list since the breakaway circuit had its first season in 2022. Moreover, the large payout and fewer work hours allow him the freedom to spend more time with his children.
