He said in the podcast, ““I wish Keith Pelley had have done it because LIV should have been part of the European Tour or the European Tour should have been part of LIV. And, I think what happened was, I believe, that Keith was overruled by his board.”

Despite the European Tour subsequently reaching an agreement with the Americans, Chubby maintains that a collaboration with LIV would have been advantageous.

“So, in a way it’s very good. But, I wish he’d have sat down with them (LIV).” He added.
