Phil Mickelson is one of the most prominent golfers. However, the 52-year-old golfer is now at the fag end of his career. He has made plenty of incredible achievements in the golfing world. Moreover, it feels like yesterday when we saw Mickelson win a tour event at a tender age.

However, the left-handed golfer is not only a family man but also almost an empty nester. His children have grown, and they might move out for their careers. Even though this thought makes Mickelson sad, he is excited about the new journey in his life.

Phil Mickelson reveals his excitement for the next phase of his life

After battling hard on the golf course for over 25 years, Phil Mickelson is now in the twilight of his career. Therefore, with his children moving out, Mickelson will be an empty nester with his wife, Amy. However, the 52-year-old golfer has it all sorted as, back in 2018, Mickelson bought land adjacent to their current house to build a small home.

Furthermore, he wants to go on a date with his wife again and travel the world. “I am looking forward to getting to date Amy again once the kids are out of the house,” revealed the six-time major winner. “We want to travel the world. Our plan is to live for three to six months in many unique and special places. That’s going to be great fun,” concluded Mickelson.
