The 2023 Portland Classic is well underway and tensions are building up as the tournament enters its weekend cut. Starting strong in the tournament is none other than Megan Khang, who is fresh off a win from her previous event.

The golfers experience pressure one way or the other as they hope to take home the crown and this is naturally the case for Khang as well. The LPGA star went ahead to reveal how she deals with that pressure and gets some well-needed rest, leaving many surprised and curious.

The 25-year-old has been a fan favorite to win the event as she entered this year’s Portland Classic with a win under her hat from the CPKC Women’s Open in Canada. It stands to reason that the golfer must have been tired after her stunning showcase at the Canadian tournament and rightfully so. Moreover, her performance at the ongoing event makes many curious as to how she deals with the pressure and exhaustion after each round.

The golfer on Friday revealed her post-round routine as she took to an interview on Friday. The LPGA star revealed how she has been taking care of her body and mind after her recent win and during the current event.

Answering the question thrown at her, the 25-year-old said, “Some practice here and there, but other than that, I’ve just kind of been just taking it easy,” Khang explained.

Adding to her response, Megan mentioned how she had started a new show on Netflix as she revealed her process of “decompression” when reaching her house. Moreover, when asked about the show, the golfer revealed it to be season two of the dramatic and hilarious show, The Ultimatum.

The CPKC Women’s Open at Shaughnessy saw Khang taking home the trophy and a cut of $375,000 from the prize purse. After her win, the pro golfer was surprised by her boyfriend and her Solheim Cup teammate and friend Nelly Korda as she was bestowed in her room filled with balloons. The 1X LPGA winner disclosed how she teared up after seeing the balloons and the flowers that she received from her partner.

The golfer scripted her first win in her LPGA Tour career as she scored a 9-under 279 on the Canadian event. She managed to emerge victorious after a playoff hole with Jin Young Ko after a fourth-round score of 74 (+2). The American professional will be looking to carry forward her momentum as she takes the field during the weekend at the 2023 Portland Classic.
