Life is unpredictable; sometimes, despite all the hard work, we don’t achieve what we dream of. However, if we have the support of our loved ones, we can start again and eventually fulfill our goals. That is what happened recently. The PGA Tour pro, Min Woo Lee, missed his victory at the Players Championship 2023, and Tyrrell Hatton succeeded. But his sister, the star of the LPGA Tour, Minjee Lee, has an eight-word message for him. It will fill your heart with joy and prove how important family is.

Tyrrell Hatton may have won money, but the Lee siblings won hearts

Tyrrell Hatton finished second on the leaderboard of the Players Championship and won $2.75 million. The Australian golfer Min Woo Lee endured a heartbreaking final round at the event. He carded a four-over 76 marred by two horror holes. He entered the final round and was second on the leaderboard, but tables turned, and Hatton snooped away the prize money. Despite his meltdown, he was grateful for the opportunity.

Woo Lee expressed his gratitude on Instagram. He said, “TPC Sawgrass, what a gem. Thank you to everyone for the support, we gave it a good run for most of the tournament. Tied 6th and a big step forward.” He added, “Lots of things to learn and improve but happy to be there. Again, thanks for the support to old and new fans. It was unmatched this week ❤️ Lets keep it up 💪🏼” But the portrayal of pride did not end there.

His sister, the LPGA Tour star Minjee Lee, sent a message of pride and love. She shared her brother’s post on her Instagram story and wrote, “Cool to watch you chase your dream. Proud!!” This eight-word message shows how happy and proud she is of her brother. Winning or losing is secondary, but trying is an impeccable portrayal of strength, and Woo Lee did not fail there.

How did Min Woo Lee play at the Players Championship?

The 2020 ISPS Handa Vic Open winner finished in a tie for sixth. It cost him millions of dollars in prize money and a life-changing temporary PGA Tour membership. The pro golfer began the day in second and shared the lead for just one hole at the famous TPC Sawgrass. But later, he fell apart in an all-time meltdown. Had he finished second, he would have picked up an estimated AUD 4.1 million – three million more than the $1.1m he will earn with his equal-sixth finish.
