If there is one name that anyone who is slightly aware of golf knows, it is that of the golf legend, Tiger Woods. The golf world considers Woods the most significant, talented, and gifted player who has ever set foot on the course, and with his accolades and achievements, it is hard to argue. Tiger Woods’ career has indeed been a one-of-a-kind experience for him and even for his fans to spectate and experience alongside.

In the journey that has been nothing less than spectacular so far, Woods has taken on a few memorable roles apart from being a professional golfer, such as being a father, caddying for his beloved son, and being a player director on the PGA Board. Ever since his near-fatal accident back in 2021, Woods’ professional career has been a bit slow. Facing the repercussions of that unfavorable night, the 15-time major champion has not been able to play much in the 2023 season. He participated in this year’s Masters but unfortunately had to withdraw due to unforeseeable health concerns. Later on, he underwent ankle surgery in April to help with his pain.

Ever since April, he has been absent from professional golf tournaments, even major ones. But his absence from the course does not necessarily mean that he has been absent from the golf world as well. Golf is something that is very close to the legend’s heart, and all he wishes for the sport is to grow to new heights.

During his rest period, there have been a few sightings of him on the course, swinging his clubs, and also caddying for his son Charlie Woods. Not only for his son, but Woods has been a mentor for other PGA Tour pros, such as Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy. But to make his mentor role more official, Tiger Woods is going to be there with Team America for the 2023 Ryder Cup in spirit at Marco Simone.
