Sean Bratches’s LIV Golf Resignation Was a Calculated Move: New “PGA Tour Enterprises” Rumors Hint Towards This Theory

Why did the top business executive, Sean Bratches, abruptly resign from the infancy stage of the LIV Golf League? Well, that’s a mystery that has not been decoded to this day.
While some assume that it was due to Greg Norman’s remarks on Saudi Arabia’s human rights issues, others point to the need for a more critical evaluation of this abrupt step.
The famous executive with a three-decade career at ESPN and a 4-year term at F1 was rumored to have resigned from LIV Golf following Norman’s comments on the murder of The Washington Post’s journalist Jamal Khashoggi. When asked about Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the matter, Greg Norman made a few remarks.

He said, “Look, we’ve all made mistakes. You just want to learn from those mistakes and how you can correct them going forward.” Interestingly enough, a few days later, the much-loved executive resigned from his leading role but made no comments affirming this to be the reason for his goodbye to LIV Golf.
However, as 2024 progresses, recent developments have hinted that the much-loved top executive might be the leader of the still-non-existent yet strongly dreamed-of “PGA TOUR Enterprises.” So then was his move to leave LIV Golf early on in 2022 a calculated one? Well, it appears so!
Brian Rolapp, the No. 2 executive at the NFL, has been discussed as a possible leader for the new PGA Tour Enterprises, sources tell me and @BenFischerSBJ.

If realized into reality, the PGA Tour enterprises would be a multi-billion-dollar congregation of the PGA Tour along with the Saudi Public Investment Fund and the Strategic Sports Group, where the Tour will remain at the center. But the news of Bratches being the potential leader of this congregation provides food for thought.
What was the intrinsic motivation behind Sean Bratches’s untimely resignation?
Therefore, questions arise: Did Bratches resign from LIV Golf at the time of its start-up because the masterminds at PIF and LIV Golf planned a future reality like the one we are likely to step into? Was this not at all related to his rumored stand against Greg Norman’s statements but a part of an elaborate and calculated plan?

Well, since there are no concrete statements backing his opposition to Greg Norman’s words, it might be said that this can be a strong piece in the elaborate game of chess laid out by the rebellious league and its masterminds.
While nothing has been formalized yet, Sean Bratches has been rumored as a strong option for a leader in the future of the game of golf. Apart from Bratches, another potential name being eyed for this role is the longtime executive at the NFL, Brian Rolapp.
