Having been away from the course for nearly four months, fans eagerly look forward to seeing Lefty swing his club again. He was recently spotted flaunting his reflexes in Mayakoba. Fans couldn’t help but notice his new look and his great skills, and they went berserk!

LIV’s first event of the 2023 season begins in Mexico this week, and the 6-time major winner is part of the 48-player field there. This year too, he captains the HY Flyers and will undoubtedly be looking for redemption from last year’s quarterfinal knockout. And perhaps with the skills he just showed off, he may just find it!

Recently, a video of the 45-time PGA Tour winner flaunting his skills on a reaction wall went viral all over Twitter. Flushing It, a golf account by an ex-pro, also shared the trending post and wrote, “Lefty has a new look in Mayakoba, is that Jason Bourne?” Well, with the new look he had donned, the former PGA Tour star certainly looked like he had just walked off a movie set!

The golf pro had a new haircut, and it was styled differently than usual. Moreover, from his t-shirt to his shoes, the golf pro was clad in all-black. With his back facing the camera, the 52-year-old was tapping lights on the reaction wall. And boy, was he quick! The fans noticed that too and went on to comment on how athletic he still was and how excited they were about LIV.

Contrarily, some fans didn’t seem to like the defector’s new look. They claimed that he seemed sick and that he was no longer relevant as a golfer.

Some PGA Tour loyalists were also in the crowd. They went on to lash out at the Saudi-backed League and call it boring. The fans stated that they wanted to see the Tour stars playing, and not Mickelson.

The Anti-LIV fans even went on to trash the new series for being a money grab and a “circus.” To them, the Breakaway Tour was just a hindrance and insult to golf. But not all feel that way anymore.
