It was the golden moment when a fan met her idol and was overwhelmed. 

And the fan was none other than Korda. She had her fan girl moment last year at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Fla. The re-shared video showcased her same excitement and emotions when she met her idol for the first time. So let’s buckle up and walk down memory lane of last year’s PNC championship.

Most professional golfers live in Florida. It is a big state, but it was obvious that these pros cross each other’s paths. However, it shocked everyone that LPGA pro-Nelly Korda had never met Woods. However, her dream came true last year. Woods and his son, Charlie, were finishing their first round at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club. Olympic gold medalist Korda was present behind the 18th green with her father, Petr, who was also her playing partner.

She acted like a 12-year-old child who was too shy to go to her favorite hero and ask for pictures. However, Korda managed to sideline her shyness, and with accumulated courage, she went up to Woods and Meekly exchanged a greeting. She said, “Hi, Tiger. I was wondering if I could take a photo with you?” And the golfers’ response was exciting. He first said, “Nelly!” in a way like he had known her forever. He then agreed to the picture, saying, “Yes! You got it! Done deal!” It was a heartwarming meeting. A little fan finally met her hero.

Acting like a typical fan, Korda introduced Woods to her professional tennis player brother, Sebastian. Petr took the camera and captured Korda and Woods together in one frame. Then she stepped aside, and her brother and father stepped in and snapped a picture with the legendary golfer. However, the video ended with the giddy expression of Korda, where she was still living her fan moment.
